My skin feels so soft after using this, and it actually looks better. One warning though, if you have sensitivity, keep it away from your eyes. It does burn. Remember to wash your hands after using should you rub your eyes later.

I have tried several face creams and lotions and all have bothered my eyes. When I tried this one, my eyes did not react at all. There was no blurring, watering, or redness. I think the reason for no eye reaction is that the scent is so light and fresh. I would recommend this to anyone who has eye sensitivity to scents. Also my skin feels so soft to the touch. This is an exceptional face lotion. Very light, clean feel, with the added comfort of knowing it has SPF 20 protection. I love this product!

I liked the sample I received of this face lotion, but when I ordered and received the full bottle, I found the fragrance a bit too strong. This may be only my own quirky reaction, but I'd like Thymes to dial back the floral notes on this product.

I love this face lotion. I put it on right after I was and dry my face and it makes my make up go on smoother and it helps it look better all day long. The best thing about it is the SPF in it, you don't have to worry about your face getting burned. A tiny bit goes a long way so it lasts a long time. I even have my Mom using it now. Everyone should try it, you will love it!!

This lotion is lightly fragranced, like other Essential products and is super sheer going on to the skin. I wear it as my moisturizer after I wash with Essentials Face Wash. Leaves my skin feeling very smooth and healthy. Does not have a greasy, oily, or sticky feeling. The pump dispenser is just right too!

I'm so glad I tried this moisturizer, it's feels incredible! I needed a lotion with SPF for the summer, and I usually hate the feeling of wearing sunblock on my face, but this lotion has no filmy sticky residue whatsoever! It is the lightest-feeling lotion and makes my skin feel smooth and soft. I brought a sample of this lotion to a friend, and she has purchased some for herself now too. I've thrown out my old face lotion, this is the best!

I am very sensitive with facial sum blocks and the Essentials lotion is great. Non greasy, smells like cucumbers!!!!

I'm so thrilled that I found Thymes Essentials Face Lotion SPF 20. It goes on so smoothly, sinks in and disappears on my face. The scent is very fresh. I love how it dispenses the perfect amount to successfully cover my entire face. So many products allow too much lotion to dispense, creating a situation where I have to continue slowly rubbing it into my skin; it's aggravating as well as being a waste of money.

I was on vacation in MaIne when i first used this product. My friend told me it might make my face break out, she was wrong, I was using thymes essentials face wash at the same time and I didnt break out, my face improved! The spf 20 went to great use while I was on vacation because dont want my face to get any more tan so it worked out perfectly. I will continue to use thymes products.

Received a sample packet of this and was pleasantly surprised
at how light and non-greasy it is. Spreads easily and absorbs
quickly. Can feel a bit heavy if you overapply. A little goes a long
way, especially if your skin is oily and you live in a warm, moist
climate. Love the fact that it's a broad spectrum sunscreen.
Probably the freshest-smelling SPF product around. Nice!

I have worked in spas, and tried many lotions but I REALLY enjoy this one. It's refreshing and non-greasy. I have sensitive skin and my skin really likes this lotion. I'm definitely hooked on this stuff.

Trying to find a moisturizer for dry, sensitive, aging skin has been a problem, especially for the summer months when I enjoy being outside with family. They are too heavy, too greasy, or cause a rash in the sunshine. Thymes Essentials Face Lotion is just right - a refreshing, light coating of sun protection - used alone or under makeup. My skin is wonderfully soft, I have no problem with the greasiness of some moisturizer (which seems to collect grime as I garden or mow), and to top it off, other people notice the healthy smoothness.

I love this face lotion. It isn't fragrant, so I don't have to think twice before applying it to my face. I love how moisturizing it is, while protecting your sensitive skin from the harsh sun every day.

Finally ordered this wonderful face lotion for which others have given rave reviews. However, I need more SPF, especially since I have very sensitive skin and need more sun protection. How about it sometime in the future?

I read the reviews for this product before ordering. They were right!
This lotion is superior to any others I have used. Extremely light and non greasy, it has a delightful cucumber fragrance. When out in my garden, I perspire a lot and other lotions would end up in my eyes and dripping off my upper lip! Not a happy situation. With the Essentials SPF lotion, I am hardly aware of having it on except for that nice fragrance. My skin thanks you for helping protect me from sun damage.

This is wonderful - light, airy and a light scent. I had Melanoma on my neck. Trying to find a sunscreen in a moisturizer is not easy that has those high numbers. I have found one other that is SPF20, but it is tinted - this is wonderful when I just want to feel clean and want to go natural.

"Essential" sums it up

Without a doubt, this is the purest, most effective sunscreen/face lotion I've ever used --- outperforming even the highest priced cosmetic brands. The scent is fresh and clean, and while the lotion leaves no residue, I am protected even in the desert sun. It has truly become an essential part of my daily routine. Also, a very little of the lotion goes a long way and I appreciate the bottle design that dispenses just the right amount of lotion, without any waste of this great product. I have never written rave reviews about any other company or product --- but Thymes just keeps quietly producing consistently high quality products --- its praises deserve to be sung!
