I have been very pleased with most Thymes products but this was only middling--there's not much of a scent (or flavor), and the balm is kind of goopy, like circa 1970s Chapstick that had been in your pocket for too long. I won't be buying this again...

I was shopping around on the website when I saw this product. Given how much I've loved other Thymes products, I thought that I would give this a try.
I found this lip balm to be very good: it's moisturizing, light, and long-lasting. However, I was disappointed with the flavor. I was hoping for a nice mint flavor as described but it sort of tastes like . . . grass. It's not entirely unpleasant, just not what I was expecting. I would buy this product again because it is a good lip balm but I would love to see other flavors offered.

I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL LIP BALMS, AND NOTHING COMPARES TO THIS LIP BALM. I LOVE THE TEXTURE, THE SMELL, AND IT DOES ABSOLUTE WONDERS TO MY LIPS. I AM GOING TO HAVE TO BUY MORE, TO KEEP IN MY PURSE, WORK AND AT HOME. THE BEST

I have used this lip balm for years and have several sticks in places that I frequent. I find it to be soothing and not greasy. I have tried other lip balms and have not been as satisfied as I am with this product.

I'm so glad I tried this lip balm, it feels so soothing and smells really great too. It actually smells a bit like sweet pink rose petals to me, just a very nice, mild scent. I keep a tube at my desk at work, at home in my cosmetic case, and in my purse so I can always have it handy. This would make a nice gift too, for men as well as women, as a little stocking-stuffer or in a gift basket.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff. I jsut can't buy regular old lip balm after using Thymes. It is wonderful, makes your lips feel smooth, and has not after taste. Also, with most lip balms you feel the need to keep putting it on all day, with this you don't. I even wear ponly this with no lipstick, which is a big change for me! I highly recommend trying it if you have not.

I too am very particular about my lip balm and use it frequently. I have sensitive skin and sunburn easily, so love the SPF component. I formerly used Bert's Bees, but developed an awful reaction to it. I tried the Essentials lip balm with much fear that I would have a repeat reaction, but nothing happened and now am sold. It's creamy, but not greasy. Stays on for a long time and protects my lips from sun without the horrible taste that some lip balms with SPF have. A great product.

I'm very picky about lip balms and this one is in my top three! It's soft and doesn't make my lips peal or chap. I don't even like how Burt's Bees, natural as it is, makes my lips feel. I have sensitive skin so I appreciate this lip balm so much. It has a gentle, subtle mintiness that's really nice. I will say my all time fav is from Melaluca and has a vanilla flavor, but you have to be a member to order it at a reasonable price. So that makes this one at Thymes a notch better just for ease of getting it and so affordable. My third fav is the hemp balm lip balm from The Body Shop. This one is still tops though.

This lip balm can "multi-task." Wow!
It's not only terrific for use on parched lips, but this balm can be used as a "zit zapper," a "shaving cut cure," and even a "blister buster."
I carry tubes of this lip balm in my purse and travel case. I cannot begin to tell you when I've trusted it for "other ouches!!" Thanks!

I can't believe it has taken me this long to find a balm I can actually use. I ALWAYS wear lipstick because that is what I thought I had to wear. ANYTIME I used lip-balm or lip-gloss, I would always break out a little around my lips because there was an extreme amount of oil in them. I have tried most all of the drug store and even some department store ones. This is the very first one I have ever had that has not caused my lips to break out!!!! I can finally wear my lips naked with just balm and it brings out the natural tint in my lips and lasts a really long time before needing to re-apply. Absolutely love it!

I use lip balm quite a bit. I usually carry it around in my pocket. I thought that I would try this kind and I love it. It is a great lip balm and i love the smell. It smells like it has natural herbs in it. I turned around and bought quite a few thinking that I would give them to friends and business clients. I love your products.

I just started using this lip balm and love it! It goes on so smooth and makes you lips feel soft. Lightly mint flavored, but not overpowering. Even when you don't actually feel like you have any on, your lips still feel soft. Not to mention that there's SPF in it!

This is a lovely , smooth, nourishing lip protectant. It just feels good, healing and having sensitive lips to the sun.... I know it protects. I am giving it in my daughters Easter Baskets this year !! I know they will love it too.

I seriously am never satisfied with lip balms... they always leave my lips more chapped than before I used them. But the Essentials is different, it actually works! Unfortunately, my boyfriends keeps stealing it and now it's almost gone :(
