This candle, while pleasant, does not deliver the fragrance punch that I am used to in Thymes candles. I was hoping for a winter winner but I have been disappointed in this offering. It's the first time I have not been happy with a Thymes product – and I have had many.

I ordered this candle based on the reviews. I'm not a lover of sugary sweet scented candles. Typically, I have to smell a candle before I'll buy it. This scent is so fresh and clean and natural! It immediately took me back to the time I spent in the Black Forest when we were living in Germany years ago.
I love the way it makes my home smell! Thank you!

The blue spruce and elderberry combination of this candle is fabulous. The scent stays around after you have finished burning the candle for the night.
This north woods scent is crisp and clean and can be burned all year long. For me it is a relaxing scent versus invigorating scent but it is a fresh scent.
I have given it for gifts.

Woodsy/Winter In The Forest

The Blue Spruce & Elderberry candle and other products in this Wildwood line are superb. The earthy sents are very much like those you experience while hiking in the woods during a winter Holiday break. I liked the Blue Spruce & Elderberry right away because of the distinctive natural scent so difficult to find in prducts from other companies. The artful, quality packaging and unique look of the artwork on the containers make this a perfect gift for the discerning person on your gift list. Many thanks to Thymes staff for creating such wonderful, beautiful & sensual products that are never over-powering, but always tasteful to enjoy and share with others.
